HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TOUR:

• HORSEBACK RIDING IN TUSCANY
  This tour will provide the participants with 3 different horseback riding excursions in the countryside around Florence and the lush rolling hills of the Val d'Orcia in the region of Tuscany.
  
  The riding group will be treated to an Italian Farm House lunch after one of their rides. Each riding session will take the riders on different paths to experience the Medieval architecture of the Tuscan region and the Val d'Orcia along with seeing castle ruins, rivers and streams. We will also visit a winery just outside the walls of San Quirico. Our host will invite the group to taste and sample some of their locally produced wines along with meats and cheeses from the area. This Tuscan itinerary is truly a "Tour of Dreams".

• VENICE
  Experience, photograph and explore the watery magic and maze-like configurations of breathtaking “Venezia.” We will visit Murano & Burano Islands in the Venetian Lagoon. Murano is world renown for its glass blowing studios, dazzling showrooms & exquisite glass jewelry. You can watch the master glaziers working the molten glass. A boat trip will take you to the nearby colorful island of Burano. The inhabitants of Burano are classically fishermen & lace makers. “’Shop-Till-You-Drop” takes you from our hotel’s area in Cannaregio to Piazza San Marco. You will be fascinated to see the shops selling handmade carnival masks. Don’t forget to take a romantic gondola ride through the back canals of Venice. Stroll through Piazza San Marco where you can feed the birds & visit the Bell Tower for a spectacular view of the rooftops of Venice. It has been said “if you read a lot, nothing is as great as you’ve imagined. Venice is – Venice is better.”

• FLORENCE
  A chance to live in the Renaissance city of Firenze, “Il Magnifico.” Home of the powerful Medici Dynasty and the works by Michelangelo. Visit the Ponte Vecchio, the “David” and the Medici Tombs. “Shop-Till-You-Drop” in Florence & try the best gelato at “Vivoli.” Florence’s best sights are encompassed within such a compact area that the city seems to reveal its treasures at every step.

• BAGNO VIGNONI
  Bagno Vignoni is a delightful Tuscan village centered around a Roman Pool that was visited by St. Catherine & Pope Pio II centuries ago. Except for the amenities, little has changed over time. The beautiful views and the people of this town will capture your heart and your imagination. A rare opportunity to get to know life in a Tuscan village! We will visit a private winery in the “stunning” countryside of San Quirico d’Orcia for an afternoon of sampling local wines, meats and cheeses. Our hotel in the Val d’Orcia has a “state-of-the-art” spa & offers several spa treatments. We will also be visiting the nearby village of Pienza for a walking tour with a professional guide who will bring the town’s colorful history to light.
